Wow, the perfect Christmas card shot.  We got about 6" of snow last night.

Birds at our House

I finally got some good pictures of a flicker.  I think they are so colorful.  They love the suet feeder at our house and are always hanging around the bird feeder, but don't really go to it.  I always know fall has come when the flickers have arrived.

Christmas Tree Cutting

Christmas tree hunting in the Pecos Mtns.  Came across some turkeys in one location we were at.  We went to another location to find a tree.  Kinda of a tough road--completely 4 wheel drive.  We were in a canyon so had hills to the one side and drop off on the other.  You can see the boulder in the road, luckily we could go around it.  I thought our bodies would be sore the next day from all the rockin' in the truck on that road.  But all ok.
